Reference, attributes and quantity are different things
Set and number help locate the reference. Language, finish and variant distinguish versions. Quantity counts physical copies. Keeping them separate prevents a different edition from disappearing inside a shared name.
- Reference: complete set and number, without omitting prefixes.
- Attributes: language, finish and variant supported by evidence or pending.
- Quantity: a whole number representing that record's copies.
A photo keeps the inventory checkable
Keep the original and its associated crop. If the number is unreadable or finish needs another angle, the image explains why it remains pending. A reliable inventory accepts gaps instead of turning them into invented attributes.
What to export and what to keep separately
CSV lets you inspect records outside the app. Advanced JSON preserves a richer structure when that option is enabled. A data export does not replace keeping original photographs; inspect its contents before using it to prepare a sale.
Practical questions
What should I do when I cannot read the set or number?
Keep the photo and leave the reference pending. A suggested name may help you search, but it does not complete a verifiable reference by itself.
Can one record represent several cards?
Yes: its quantity expresses that record's physical copies. Before grouping copies, check that they share the reference attributes and are not different variants.
Local recognition is being validated. The demo is predetermined; it saves no cards and uses no quota. Review attributes against the physical card: condition and authenticity are not certified.
