STACKVAL / YOUR COLLECTION

Pokémon card value: evidence comes first.

What is my card worth? First you need to know which reference you are comparing and what each price represents. A published asking price does not prove someone paid that amount.

One real shot from the StackVal archive. The demo shows its six crops and illustrative records.

Three categories that stay separate

A guide provides an indicative reference. An asking price records what a seller requests. A completed sale needs evidence of a finished transaction. Keep the category with its source, observation date and currency so the information retains its meaning.

  • Guide: a source's indication, not a proven sale.
  • Asking price: requested price, not received income.
  • Sale: evidence of a completed transaction and comparable context.

Compare the same reference

Check set, number, language, finish and variant. Condition, quantity, grading status, fees and date can change the comparison. If that context is absent from the source, record the limitation instead of filling it in by intuition.

Unknown does not mean zero

A card without price evidence is not worth zero in the inventory: its valuation is pending. Coverage indicates how many records have usable evidence. Do not calculate a total by mixing currencies, incompatible categories or incomplete data.

Current availability

The automatic market provider is still pending. The demo shows the evidence structure with empty fields, without invented prices. Manual evidence requires source and date; a stored value does not certify comparability.

Practical questions

Can I add guide, asking and sale prices to value my collection?

Those categories have different meanings. Define a consistent, checkable basis before calculating a total; records without that basis should remain pending.

Is an old sale the current price?

It describes a transaction observed at a particular time. Keep the date visible and check that reference and context match; do not automatically present it as a current valuation.

Local recognition is being validated. The demo is predetermined; it saves no cards and uses no quota. Review attributes against the physical card: condition and authenticity are not certified.
